You were lost in the middle of a gloomy woodland. Your paws could barely carry you and you were breathless, panting heavily as lukewarm saliva dripped from your tongue, which hung from your agape jaws. As you went silent, all you could here were distant bellows and ululates in the nearby distant. Your hackles rose bristled vioently as you continued on your way, uneasy, but not thinking twice about the piercing loud noises.
After walking for a long while, you found your way to a lagoon. A blessed feeling consumed you as you drank the contaminated looking aqua. Suddenly, a peircing, acute pain latched onto your nape, a tremendous force pulling you onto your back, exposing your underside. You let out a sudden yelp before your orbs flashed around the wolf-stricken association. You scrambled to your paws, both a feminine, burnt sienna, tawny pelted canis lupus and an achromatic, ebony, masculine canis lupus facing you. Their cobalt orbs burned into yours before the male stepped forwards to speak.
"Why are you in Surreptitious Hounds's territory you mangy mutt? Can't you smell our scent markers, or are you too dumb to do that as well!" His ferocious voice managed to make you back up, your ears flat to your head, before the all ebony female nipped gently at your hind legs, forcing you to face the two gargantuan wolves.
"I-I'm sorry sir. I didn't know this was anyone's territory." You said, the words quickly flooding out of your mouth before your tail made it's way between your legs.
The brown, female wolf now stepped up, her tail oscillating slowly. "Philip, calm down." You fluctuated your gaze to the grey male once again, his glare flashing onto her before he let out a low growl. You continued focusing your gaze back onto the alluring female, her voice once again slicing through the still air. "You look well built, young one." You felt her gaze slide across your body before she continued. "I believe that you'd be a well fit wolf for our pack. So, here is my one and only offer. Would you like to join Sureptitious Hounds?"
The Regulations are the rules of the pack that must be followed constantly under the Luminary's order. If you end up breaking the Regulations, you will suffer the consequences, which range from mild to severe, depending on the infraction.
Double-Grouping - Double-Grouping is an absolute embrago in Surreptitious Hounds. If you ever get caught in the act you will get a severe punishment listed in the punishments section.
Leaving- You may join back into Surreptitious Hounds at the maximum of three times. This may be different depending on why and how you left Surreptitious Hounds before, for say abusing the Commandments. The Luminary, Envoy and Elite Combantants would then have to discuss if you may join back. If you didn't do anything that harmed the Pack in any way you would be able to join back, but not at a high rank, as you would have to earn back your trust to work you way up in the pyramid again.
Tag Colour - Your tag colour should always stay red, along with the star icon. If you do end up getting caught with your tag colour and/or icon changed you will be questioned. If you've been constantly changing your tag colour you will face a minor/intermediate punishment.
Sharing An A.J. Account - Exactly how it says in the subtitle, if you are sharing an account with an acquaintance of yours, know that your loyalty and actitivy will be watched by not only the high authorities but your fellow pack members as well. This is to make sure you are not double-grouping in general because we cannot be completely sure if you are yourself or another person on that single account. If you share an Animal Jam account with a family or friend who does not role-play or is not / not planning to be in a group, the suspicion will subside.
All members in the pyramid should be respected without a doubt, some more than others. If you get caught bullying another member, no matter their rank in the pyramid, you will be punished with a minor or intermediate punishment listed in the punishments section. Remember, treat others the way you would want to be treated.
We would ask that every member of Surreptitious Hounds could be active at least 2 times a week. If you can't be on for at least that long, please let a high rank know or leave a comment on the wiki with a reasoning and how long you'll be inactive. If you fail to let someone know, and you aren't on for a week you will be kicked out of Surreptitious Hounds, or you will be generously given a punishment when you do get back.
Drama is an absolute no-no and shall not be performed, ever. For those of you, there's a difference between drama and a plot. If you are constantly causing drama you will get a punishment in the major punishments section. If there are to be any drama, you may not bring it back up into a conversation in the future. What has happened in the past, stays in the past.
The Punishments are consiquences that shall be given to misbehaving members of the pack. These Punisments can be from the minor of doing Novice duties, to the major of being exiled. The Punishments would decide on what the Luminary, and only the Luminary desires.
Minor Punishments are punishments that will not include any physical or harmful contact to the wolf receiving the punishment. These Minor Punishments shall only include doing thing within or without of the pack that serves a purpose.
Performing Novice Duties - While doing this punishment you will perform all the duties of a Novice which would consist of getting assigned a mentor, clearing out dirty bedding in all dens, hunting for the pack, etc. This will however, will not last as long as an actual Novice. The Luminary who assigns you this punishment will decide how long you have to suffer with this punishment.
Recruiting - This punishment is as simple as it sounds. You have to recruit as many wolves as your Luminary who punishes you pleases before you can continue your daily pack life. When you do recruit a member, they will have to fill out the application but please let them know that they have to credit you and if they fail to do this, then you will not be credited the recruitment.
Last To Eat- The punishment is as it says. After everyone gets their share of food, you can dig in. But, most likely there shall be no food left, leaving you to go hunt for not only yourself, but the pack. You will be supervised by a high rank that we know you're not that close to death, but you will receive no help otherwise.
Staying In Camp - When staying in camp as a punishment, you will be expected to do extra chores within the pack. If your packmates are doing some event inside of the pack, you aren't permitted to join them.
Intermediate Punihsments are punishments that will include some physical contact with the wolf recieveing the punishment. These intermediate punishments shall include doing things within or without the camp that may or may not harm the wolf.
Major Punishments are punishments that will always include physical contact with the wolf recieving the punishment, except if they're being exiled. These major punishments will always be inside of the camp, usually at the sparring ring.
Exiled - Being exiled will consist of the wolf receiving the punishment to either be forcefully or non-forcefully ran out of the pack's territory or camp. The wolf who receives this punishment shall not be welcomed back and will be put on the Banished Members list.
Killed - It is what it says. The poor wolf who is at the end of this punishment will be killed in front of the pack by one or more TRUE members of the pack. The wolf who has been killed will then be dragged out of our territory and shall never be seen again. This wolf will be added to the banished members section of our wiki.

A rank only held by dogs.

The Warriors are the bulk of the pack. They have been trained for battling and hunting. They will have to take on one Novice before being considered to move up in the pyramid. They are more experienced that The Combatants and will battle in the front-line.
The Combantants are the bulk of the pack. They have been trained for exclusively battling/fighting. They will have to take on one Novice before being considered to move up in the pyramid. They will be the wolves to participate in battles/raids.
The Pursuers are the bulk of the pack. They have been trained for exclusively hunting. They will have to take on one Novice before being considered to move up in the pyramid. These wolves will only hunt and will be the last resource in battles/raids.
The Cadets are Canines of the age 7 to 12 moons. They train to become a Warrior or Combatants in the future and are mentored by current higher-ranked members. They are very hard-working, and strive to become the best they can. They look up to their superiors.
